Show Record:
Bandolero CLXXVI is a 6 year old “revised” Pure Spanish Stallion imported from Spain, chosen with the help of Spanish Olympic Dressage rider, Juan Matute. Bandolero has all the characteristics desired in a Pure Spanish Andalusian stallion. He has breathtaking movement, a calm and level headed temperament and an amazing desire to please his rider. He has the classic Baroque body type as well as a magnificent long flowing mane and tail. Bandolero is of the Leviton line, Before his death in 1999, Leviton was known for being one of the greatest PRE breeding stallions in Spain and had produced more champions than any other stallion alive at his time. The most legendary of which is Evento, the famous PRE stallion who represented Spain in the 1996 Olympic games. The Leviton line is unsurpassed in producing beautiful horses with a calm and gentle temperament, incredible work ethic and mesmerizing movement. True to his line, Bandolero has extraordinary movement both in his high stepping knee action as well as his impressive extended trot. His most endearing trait, however, is his incredible temperament. He is calm, gentle and level headed, yet energetic and eager to please his rider. He is easily ridden by his amateur rider at shows, on trails, and even recently performed a Pas de Deux alongside a mare in heat at the 2007 NWAHA show. |
